nice unit Review by Raymond
New to using a kick. Still getting used how to set it. From what I've noticed so far seems to work well. Get alot more flavor out if the juices warmer vape. Once i get setting on it I'm sure will get even better. (Posted on 9/15/13)
Works Flawlessly Review by Bill
I'm using this in the Magneto and have not had a single problem since day 1. On certain juices i find it necessary to dial up my wattage, the kick makes that easy with any mechanical mod. (Posted on 8/26/13)
Works great! Review by Hazozita
I had an Evolv Kick but ended up selling it since it was problematic, both in terms of maintaining ground contact and cutting out once the unloaded battery charge hit 3.7v. I’m finding the Smok Kick to be a lot more forgiving on both counts.
So far I’ve used it in a Legacy, a Silver Bullet, and an iSeason without any problems. Fits like a champ and maintains contact without having to fiddle with it at all. Keeps on working up until the battery drops below 3.3v.
There are some drawbacks compared with the Evolv Kick. This can make a “rattlesnake” sound when operating with certain devices. It’s not objectionable, but it can be heard. Sounds very much like a Vamo when it fires. The wattage markings are hard to see (but that could also be a factor of my aging eyes) so it took a bit of guesswork and trial and error to get it to the 9 watts where I wanted it. The build quality of the contact post looks a little funky with a big blob-o-solder on it. But the much nicer price of the Smok makes those issues easy to live with.
Very pleased with this, and will be picking up at least one more. (Posted on 8/9/13)
